Jim Mora, Jr. Expected To Be Broncos New Defensive Coordinator Under John Fox

The Denver Post is reporting that Jim Mora Jr., formerly the head coach at Seattle and Atlanta, is "close" to becoming the Denver Broncos' new defensive coordinator.

Five days after being hired as the Broncos new head coach, John Fox has nearly completed hiring his staff, with the likely addition of Jim Mora as defensive coordinator.

Mora, the former Atlanta and Seattle head coach, traveled to Denver on Monday to meet with Fox.

Mora’s roots are with the defensive secondary, and he’s been a secondary coach for San Diego, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Seattle. He’s been coaching in the NFL since 1985, yet is still only 49 years old.

A deal has not yet been finalized, but we will update the situation as it develops. Keep an eye on Mile High Report for details and updates.
