The Miami Heat have dropped three straight games, thanks in part to injuries suffered by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. If they are to break their losing streak with a win over the Hawks on Tuesday night, they may have to find a way to do so without James and Bosh. From the Miami Herald:
LeBron James’ Injury May Sideline Him For Heat-Hawks Game; Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh Also Ailing
[...] Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade will play Tuesday night against the Atlanta Hawks at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
LeBron James and [Chris] Bosh status remains questionable.
James hasn't played since the Heat's loss to the Clippers on Jan. 12. Since then, he's missed two games in which Miami lost on the road in Denver and Chicago.
Bosh didn't practice Monday, as he was still nursing a twisted ankle from Saturday's game against the Bulls. Wade banged up his knee during the same game. Without James and Bosh around him, Wade did his best to keep his team in the game, draining three three-pointers within the final two minutes, but he missed some crucial free throws, and Miami lagged on defense.
The Hawks have won eight of their last 10 games, and stand only three games behind the Heat in the Southeast division. One thing working in the Heat’s favor, at least, is that they’re playing at home after a five-game road trip.
