LeBron James is back on the court for the Miami Heat two games after twisting his ankle against the L.A. Clippers. LeBron was in the Heat’s starting lineup as Miami visited the Atlanta Hawks in one of Tuesday’s two NBA games.
Hawks Vs. Heat: LeBron James Plays For First Time Since Ankle Injury, But Chris Bosh Sits
James, the two-time reigning MVP, missed games against the Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls in the past week. The Heat lost both games, as well as the game in L.A. during which James was felled. It was Miami’s second three-game losing streak of the season, and knocked the Heat out of first place in the contested Eastern Conference.
Chris Bosh, who turned an ankle in Saturday’s loss to the Bulls, was inactive for the Heat. Bosh continues to draw ire for his unfortunate comments about the dangers of hustle following his injury, which happened as Bulls rookie Omer Asik dove for a loose ball near Bosh’s left leg.
Dwyane Wade, who was also banged up in Chicago, didn’t practice on Monday, but also started against the Hawks. Wade missed two games earlier this season. Bosh had played in all 42 of Miami’s games until missing the Hawks game.
