One Out Of Every 10 People Leaving Stadiums Is Drunk

Almost one out of every 10 people leaving baseball and football stadiums is legally intoxicated, according to a report in the journal Alcoholism. Did you know there was a journal called Alcoholism? If you really want to read it, is that a bad sign? And are you, like me, stunned by that number not because it is horrifying, but because it seems very, very low?

↵(Remember: our forefathers drank upwards of six gallons of alcohol a year without air conditioning or central heating. Today we as a nation average around half that, so please, 1/10 is doing pretty well, soberly speaking.)
