Taiwan Jones still expected to be in 2011 NFL Draft

Eastern Washington running back Taiwan Jones is still expected to be in the 2011 NFL Draft.

There was some buzz today that Jones wouldn't be in the draft because he wasn't included in an earlier release by the NFL.

NFL spokesperson Terence Malangone informed MTD that the release today only included Football Bowl Subdivision players. The NFL will release a separate memo with non-FBS players.

As a junior, Jones ran for 1,742 yards and 14 touchdowns. He caught three more touchdown passes.
