The 2010 NFL All-Pro team includes the usual suspects like Patriots QB Tom Brady, the only unanimous pick as an All-Pro, and the new-comers like Lions DT Ndamukong Suh, the only rookie on the team. The Associated Press All-Pro team is selected by 50-member voting panel of media members across the country.
2010 NFL All-Pro Team Includes Tom Brady, Clay Matthews
The AFC leads the way with 18 of the 27 players.
At QB is Tom Brady who marked the seventh consecutive year in which a player has been a unanimous pick. He’s joined by Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles and Texans RB Arian Foster as well as Texans FB Vonta Leach. At receiver is Falcons WR Roddy White and Colts WR Reggie Wayne. Cowboys TE Jason Witten also appears on the list.
The offensive line includes Browns OT Joe Thomas and Dolphins OT Jake Long along with Saints G Jahri Evans and Patriots G Logan Mankins. Jets C Nick Mangold rounds out the offensive line.
The defensive line includes the rookie, Lions DT Ndamukong Suh as well as Ravens DT Haloti Ngata. Two defensive ends, Falcons’ John Abraham and Bears’ Julius Peppers, also made the team.
Patriots’ Jerod Mayo is in at linebacker along with Packers LB Clay Matthews, 49ers LB Patrick Willis and Steelers LB James Harrison.
The two cornerbacks are Jets’ Darrelle Revis and the Raiders’ Nnamdi Asomugha. As usual, Ravens S Ed Reed and Steelers S Troy Polamalu land on the list.
The specialists are Raiders P Shane Lechler and Ravens K Billy Cundiff while Bears’ Devin Hester is the return man.
