A game between the Arizona Wildcats and the Stanford Cardinal in Tucson has been postponed after U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) and at least four others were shot during a political event in the Tucson Saturday morning. The Arizona Daily Star's Bruce Pascoe reports:

Today's #arizonawildcats vs Stanford game has been postponed to Sunday at 12:30 because of the shootings. More detail to follow.
Rep. Giffords had been meeting with constituents outside a Tucson grocery store when an unnamed assailant opened fire with an automatic weapon, according to reports. The latest reports have Giffords and at least two others (one a child) seriously wounded. At least two victim -- an aide to Giffords and a federal judge -- have been reported to have died from gunshot wounds. Giffords, a second-term Democrat, won a closely contested election in November.
Arizona was scheduled to host Stanford at 6:30 PM Eastern in Pac-10 play.
