Against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLDS, Marcum gave up seven runs over 5-2/3 innings, and was tagged with the loss for his efforts.
Edwin Jackson takes the bump for the Cardinals and will try to steal a game before heading back to St. Louis. In his last outing, Jackson allowed two runs over six innings in a win over the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS.
