Cardinals vs. Brewers, NLCS Game 6 Preview: Time, TV Schedule, Lineups And More

Sunday night in Milwaukee, it’s win or go home for the winter for the Brewers; the Cardinals, meanwhile, can win the NLCS with a victory.

The Milwaukee Brewers return home to Miller Park, site of their best success in 2011, needing to win two games in a row to make it to the World Series for the first time since they were an AL East team in 1982. Meanwhile, the St. Louis Cardinals need win just once in those two games to make their second World Series in the last six seasons.

The Brewers were 57-24 at home during the regular season and have won four of the five games played in Milwaukee in the postseason. They'll send Shaun Marcum to the mound Sunday night; Marcum had a solid year for the Brew Crew but has been awful this postseason, getting hit hard in both the NLDS against the Diamondbacks and in Game 2 of the NLCS last Monday.

The Cardinals will counter with Edwin Jackson, who also started Game 2 and was lifted in the fifth inning when he got into trouble; Tony La Russa has not hesitated to pull his starters early and use his entire bullpen to win games.

Game Date/Time: October 16, 8:05 p.m. EDT

Stadium: Miller Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

TV: TBS

Projected Starters

Milwaukee Brewers: Shaun Marcum (0-1, 11.25 ERA)

St. Louis Cardinals: Edwin Jackson (0-0, 4.15 ERA)
