The New York Post Cover Editors Really Outdid Themselves With Gaddafi And A-Rod This Morning

In whatever strange competition the New York Post has with itself to see how far past the realm of decency they can go with their front cover, let the record state unequivocally, today is the day the New York Post finally won. And it’s only right that it involves Alex Rodriguez.

To Review: They didn’t just publish the horrifying photo of Gaddafi-Qaddafi-Khadafy slumped and maimed in the Tripoli streets, they also decided to jump all over the Yankees-hat angle, too. But then, to really SWING FOR THE FENCES with all this, there’s the completely unprovoked A-Rod cheapshot.

It’s perfect.

It will never be topped. The New York Post can stop trying to outdo the New York Post every morning, because nobody will ever out-sleaze this New York Post cover. Not even the New York Post.

The cover’s so ridiculous and offensive and brain-melting, it’s like the back cover--where they photoshopped David Stern as the Grinch--never even happened.
