Look, I love those wacky Brits. I don’t hold that taxation without representation stuff against them anymore. But listening to the BBC Radio broadcast of David Freese’s walk-off home run in Game 6 of the World Series is just weird. It’s well done, don’t get me wrong. Just weird.

↵I’m just glad they didn’t rip his pants off instead of his jersey at home plate because then we’d have to listen to a grown man say “trousers.” Actually, I think we’re glad that didn’t happen for a couple of different reasons.
