A source tells a free New York newspaper that Rutgers wide receiver Mohamed Sanu is returning for his senior season.
Although the school's athletic department told Metro New York that no Rutgers players have made their decision. The paper, citing an anonymous source, says that Sanu has informed coaches that he's returning.
It seems sort of odd that if Sanu is telling coaches that the athletic department would staunchly state that no decisions have been made. With that in mind, maybe take this one with a grain of salt.
This season, Sanu had 109 receptions for 1,144 yards and 7 touchdowns. More impressively, Sanu is a weapon for Rutgers, lining up at quarterback and returning punts. He's NFL ready, so if he returns it will be a surprise. If Sanu enters the draft, he should get taken in the first two rounds and could find himself into the back end of round one.
