So much for those rumors about Southern California offensive tackle Matt Kalil returning to school for his senior season. Sources told Chris Mortensen of ESPN that Kalil will forgo his senior season and enter the 2012 NFL Draft.
USC OT Matt Kalil will sign with agent, enter 2012 NFL Draft

Pedro Moura of ESPN Los Angeles notes that Kalil is expected to sign with super agent Tom Condon. As Moura points out, Condon is also the agent for his brother, Ryan Kalil of the Carolina Panthers.
It’s unlikely the brothers will be playing on a line together, despite Carolina likely having a top 10 pick in April. Kalil projects to being the second pick in the draft by either the Minnesota Vikings or St. Louis Rams. Both need a franchise left tackle and Kalil is far and away the best at his position this season.
As Moura also pointed out, Kalil didn’t allow a sack this season. (By the by, follow Moura on Twitter, @PedroMoura)
While Kalil will unquestionably be the best offensive tackle prospect in the 2012 NFL Draft, he's not quite at the high level Joe Thomas and Jake Long were a few years ago. Instead, he's be considered in the tier of players coming out like Trent Williams and Russell Okung in the 2010 draft.
