VIDEO: Pierre Thomas Scores Touchdown, Puts Bow On Ball

It might be the day after Christmas, but that doesn't mean some people aren't still in the giving mood. The New Orleans Saints were one of those entities still in the giving mood, namely running back Pierre Thomas after he scored a rushing touchdown to put the Saints ahead of the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. Once he scored, he realized he forgot to get a fan a gift for Christmas.

Luckily, Pierre Thomas thinks on his feet and somehow just happened to have a bow, to put on the football, to give to a fan. Video after the jump.

As you can see, Thomas had a little bit of trouble getting the backing off the sticky part of the bow, which was appropriately in Saints colors. Those things are always tricky, and the time it took alerted the refs something was up on his celebration, which got him flagged for an excessive celebration penalty.

Bah humbug, NFL.
