Podcast: The 8th Round!

It looks like we have a winner! The Mocking The Draft podcast is officially The 8th Round from here on out. Congrats to the very creative BigBlueIntervention. Send me your address in an email and I will get you the prize.

This weeks podcast was nothing but quarterbacks. Our guest this week was Iowa State QB Austen Arnaud. He was kind enough to stick around for a discussion on what we look for when scouting the position.

That discussion included each of our podcast members (Jason Madson, Jon Dove, Josh Decuester, and Matthew Fairburn) breaking down what we value in a quarterback. It was interesting to see that each of us valued different aspects of the game. We finish up the show identifying what quarterbacks we project as first round selections. Again our opinions varied but two quarterbacks were consistently named. Tune in to find out and enjoy some excellent draft talk!
