The NHL trade deadline is starting to heat up in the final hour, as Chris Campoli heads to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Ottawa Senators Trade Chris Campoli To Chicago Blackhawks For Ryan Potulny, Picks
Chicago gets a conditional seventh round pick from the Ottawa Senators for Ryan Potulny and a conditional second round pick. Campoli has three goals and 14 points on the season for the Senators and has a handful of both power play and penalty kill time for the Senators.
Ottawa gets a young player in Potulny who’s bounced around a bit in his pro career. He only has a handful of NHL games this season. In those games, he doesn’t have any points and ended up a -1.
In 58 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, Potulny has 18 goals and 41 points which is good for second on the teams. Potulny will most likely report to Ottawa’s AHL affiliate, Binghamton Senators.
