The FA has released the members of the team that Fabio Capello will take with him to Copenhagen to take on Denmark in midweek. The friendly, which has no apparent purpose other than to tire out and injure players who’re already undergoing severe fixture congestion in the Premier League, will be held on Wednesday at 7:15 PM GMT (2:15 PM EST). Here’s the full squad list:
Denmark Vs. England: England Squad Announced

Defenders: Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Michael Dawson, Glen Johnson, Joleon Lescott, John Terry, Kyle Walker

Notable omissions include Andy Carroll, Adam Johnson, and Rio Ferdinand, each of whom will be absent due to injury. Capello also has Frank Lampard back for the first time in several months, as the Chelsea midfielder is fit to play after a long-term groin problem.
