The Cavaliers aren't just about breaking the all-time consecutive loss record, they're looking to decimate it. And they're going to make it as uncomfortable as possible for Cleveland fans.
Cavaliers Make It 25-Straight Losses, Drop One To Mavs 99-96
Jason Terry had 23 points off the bench and the Mavericks beat Cleveland on Monday, 99-96, to earn their ninth straight win and push the Cavs' NBA record to 25 straight losses.
Cleveland had a chance to tie, but like so many other times during a streak that has lasted nearly two months, couldn’t pull through.
The Cavs secured the rebound after Anthony Parker missed a long three-pointer in the final seconds, but simply passed the ball around the arc as time ran out, never getting off another shot.
They fell to 1-35 in their last 36 games and lost for the 26th straight time on the road.
