The 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket has finally been revealed, which means it’s time to make some guesses at who will make it to Houston from each region of the March Madness field, and which of the those four teams will cut down the nets and cry when “One Shining Moment” is played over the Reliant Stadium sound system.
NCAA Bracket 2011: Full Predictions Of Entire March Madness Field
Here are my first-instinct picks for the Final Four and National Championship:
Final Four
National Semifinals
No. 1 Ohio State over No. 1 Duke, as the Buckeyes’ combination of inside-outside play will be too much for the Blue Devils.
No. 1 Kansas over No. 2 Florida, since the Gators struggle against teams with talented big men.
National Final
No. 1 Ohio State over No. 1 Kansas, thanks to the Buckeyes’ slightly superior guard play.
So, there you have it, the Ohio State Buckeyes will claim the trophy on Monday, April 4th. You can take this information to the bank, at least until I have a change of heart at some point over the next few days.
