It looks like Eric Lichaj will be sticking around at Leeds United for at least a little while longer. The United States defender has been on loan to the Championship side from Aston Villa since February, and it has now been announced that he'll be there until at least May.

“Eric has done well since he came here,” Leeds United manager Simon Grayson said. “He’s showed his qualities and he gives us good competition in the right-back area. We’re delighted Villa have agreed to allow him to remain here until the end of the league season.”
Lichaj has played every minute of all seven matches since he joined Leeds. That followed what had been more than a month of sitting on the bench at Aston Villa, where he had fallen out of favor with manager Gerar Houllier. The initial loan had run out following Lichaj’s most recent game, but the new deal runs through May 7.
