Sweet 16 Predictions, Odds: 2011 NCAA Tournament Favorites And Prop Bets

The Big East hit the 2011 NCAA tournament with a record 11 teams in the bracket and Vegas odds that said a national champion would come from its conference. But the Big East has fallen down at the Big Dance and entering the Sweet 16, the conference is a 10/1 longshot to claim the national title, according to odds posted at shops tracked by OddsShark.com this week.
Pittsburgh bit the dust as the No. 1 seed and so did Notre Dame and Syracuse on the first weekend. Only UConn and Marquette – the 11th team from the conference to get in – remain and their odds are now on par with the Mountain West, which still has BYU and San Diego State in the running.
Which conference leads the odds? The Big Ten, with top overall seed Ohio State still alive, along with Wisconsin. The ACC and Big 12 are tied at 5/2 odds as the third betting choice. The ACC still has Duke, UNC and surprising Florida State, while the Big 12 has only one team left, but it’s No. 1 seed Kansas.
There are dozens of fun March Madness Sweet 16 prop odds, including what will be the lowest seed in the Final Four and how many No. 1 seeds will make the final round?
