The first half of Sunday night's game between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks belonged to Brandon Jennings, who turned in 14 points and three assists. Milwauke took a 49-43 lead into the break. He also turned in the quote of the night, responding to an ESPN sideline reporter's question about the reason for his early pick-and-roll success by saying, "Their bigs are slow."
Celtics Vs. Bucks: Brandon Jennings Stars As Rajon Rondo Struggles
His point guard counterpart, Rajon Rondo, is not having a good game. He has more turnovers (five) than assists (four) and only two points on three attempts from the floor. The Celtics are shooting better, but are getting hammered on the boards, giving up 10 offensive rebounds.
It’s been a day of bad news for Celtics fans, who also found out Shaquille O’Neal will be out indefinitely. A second-half rally would at least salvage something.
