Monta Ellis, the electrifying Golden State Warriors guard, suffered what seemed like a scary injury in the final minute of the Warriors' 104-103 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. Ellis ran into DeMarcus Cousins while driving to the basket and fell awkwardly. He stayed on the ground for several seconds, then appeared dazed as he walked off the floor.

Ellis didn't travel with the team for tonight's game at Denver, instead going to a hospital for further examination of his head. He didn't know who he was when Smart asked on the court, but he told forward David Lee he was fine before heading to the hospital.
Ellis averages 24.6 points and 5.6 assists in over 40 minutes per game for the Warriors, and has not yet missed a game this season. The Warriors are 35-45 and play the Denver Nuggets Monday before finishing with the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
