Pro days are over and workouts are wrapping up so it’s time to finalize positional rankings. One of the most intriguing thing about the NFL Draft process is that each person values prospects differently. For NFL talent evaluators and draft analysts alike, the rankings at the top look similar, but opinions vary on mid-level players.
2011 NFL Draft Wide Receiver Rankings: Kadar vs Dove
Here at Mocking the Draft we wanted to show you how our opinions differ. Dan Kadar and Jon Dove are breaking down each position giving you their top 10 in each. Make sure to check out our scouting report page to get full reports on some of the prospects. Also don’t hesitate to leave some feedback about our rankings or maybe even your own.
As you can tell by our rankings, Georgia's A.J. Green and Alabma's Julio Jones are the clear cut two top receivers. After that, it comes down to personal preference. I tend to like bigger receivers more, and that's reflected in my top five especially.
Still, the gap between player three (Jon Baldwin) and six (Leonard Hankerson) is minuscule. This year's class might only get two players taken in the first round. The second round could see several wide receivers come off the board. Let us know what you think of the rankings and what your's look like.
