Valero Texas Open 2011 Leaderboard, Tee Times And Second Round Schedule

The first round of the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio is in the books and what a memorable round it was. The leaderboard itself isn’t terribly noteworthy, but Kevin Na made history on Thursday, recording a 16 on the par four 9th. That’s 12-over-par, for those scoring at home, and turned his decent round into a disastrous one as he carded an 8-over 80.

As for those who didn’t partake in amateur hour on the course, Stewart Cink and J.J. Henry shared the first round lead at 5-under. Charley Hoffman, Jhonattan Vegas, Vaughn Taylor and Kevin Chappell are each one-shot back at 4-under. A full leaderboard can be found at the PGA Tour website.

On Friday, the second round begins as golfers tee-off on the first and 10th holes. Coverage begins at 3 p.m. Eastern on the Golf Channel, running until 6 p.m.
