The Cleveland Indians Once Sold Out 455 Consecutive Games

Attendance at today’s Indians/White Sox game was 9,853, lowest since Progressive Field opened in 1994.

↵The Indians lost 400,000 in total attendance between 2008 and 2009, and another 400,000 between 2009 and 2010. At this rate, the Indians will play home games before zero fans in 2014, causing us to wonder whether they’re even playing baseball anymore, and if so, why.
