One of the fantastic things we've learned in these 2011 NHL playoffs is that no lead is safe, and that was never more evident than in Game 3 between the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings.
Sharks Vs. Kings, Game 4: Can L.A. Bounce Back From Devastating Loss?
Devin Setoguchi topped off a ridiculous Sharks comeback with an OT goal as San Jose went on to the 6-5 win, absolutely devastating the Kings in the process and grabbing back home-ice advantage to boot.
Antti Niemi was pulled in Game 3 as Los Angeles jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 21 minutes of the game, but he'll get the start again on Thursday night in Game 4. He'll be up against Jonathan Quick for the Kings. The key for L.A., as they try to avoid a 3-1 series deficit, will be to keep their composure. After the debacle in the last game, they need to quickly learn some lessons and get back into gear.
If they use the huge loss as motivation, we could easily have a series on our hands heading back to San Jose for Game 5. If not, it’ll be obvious what the turning point in this series was.
