The Chicago Bulls may still close out the Indiana Pacers in four games their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals matchup, but the contentious series between the two teams has not been without its dicey moments. A Derrick Rose injury in Game 4 is just the latest one.

Rose turned his ankle coming down after jumping late in the first quarter of Game 4. He went to the locker room — to applause from the Pacers fans — and has since returned both to the bench and the game.
Rose has been remarkably healthy, despite his aggressive style. SB Nation’s Mike Prada marveled that Rose hasn’t been hurt more often.
Considering how much he drives and jumps off two feet, I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more oftenRose played in 81 games this season, and averaged 25.0 points and 7.7 assists per game en route to becoming the prohibitive favorite to be the youngest player ever to win an NBA MVP award. But he’s missed only six games in his three years in the NBA, and averaged over 36 minutes per game in each year.
