We’re Calling Him Nuke-ra Now, Right?

It’s been a bumpy road (much more so than a ride in a Toyota Prius!) for Nu’Keese Richardson since the blue-chip receiver decommitted from Florida, was kicked off the Tennessee football team for his part in the worst attempted armed robbery of a booster-owned gas station in NCAA history, and then saw his prospects for a return to I-A ball gracelessly diminish:

↵↵Richardson initially was trying to get into South Florida, Syracuse and Kansas State, but those schools’ interest waned.

↵↵

All is not lost, however: Richardson appears to be bound for Delta State, home of the Fightin’ Okra. Quoth our own EDSBS: “Whatever he may have lost in time and potential, he has now gained in a mascot.”
