Ryan Harrow and the N.C. State Wolfpack are parting ways, with the rising sophomore point guard announcing he'll transfer to another program. The Georgia native will have to sit out a year, and State won't release him to another ACC school, but he says the time off will do him just fine:
Ryan Harrow Will Transfer From N.C. State Basketball To Non-ACC School
I think this staff will do good things here at NC State. The year off will help me improve in many ways and I think the decision is the best for me personally.
New head coach Mark Gottfried wished Harrow well:
We wish him well and will do anything we can to assist him in this process.
Harrow entered Raleigh as one of the nation's top-10 point guards and a five-star prospect. He started 10 games last season, averaging 23 minutes for the year. He has yet to decide which school he'll transfer to, but he says the Georgia Bulldogs are in the running.
