Chris Steuber, Director of Pro Player Personnel for the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League, is back with his final 2011 NFL mock draft.
Chris Steuber’s final NFL mock draft
This year’s draft class has many talented prospects available. It’s, without question, one of the strongest defensive end classes in recent memory and with many NFL teams in need of quarterbacks there’s a possibility that up to six signal callers could be selected in the opening frame.
The impact that underclassmen will have on this year's draft is obvious and as you look over my final attempt to predict the future, I project 18 underclassmen and 14 seniors being selected in the first round. If it weren’t for the underclassmen each year, the NFL Draft would be ordinary and lack the intrigue that creates a frenzy this time of year.
With that said, the intrigue builds as to the response NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell receives from the fans in New York, as well as the name he calls with the first pick. The draft starts with the Carolina Panthers and they’re on the clock…
