UFC 129 Results And Play-By-Play: Georges St. Pierre Vs. Jake Shields, Randy Couture Vs. Lyoto Machida And More
The event is headlined by a welterweight title fight between current champion Georges St. Pierre and challenger Jake Shields. The co-main event is a featherweight title fight between champion Jose Aldo and challenger Mark Hominick. The featured bout on the main card is a light heavyweight match between UFC Hall of Famer and former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Randy Couture. He takes on Lyoto Machida in a non-title affair.
The entire fight is available for viewing. The preliminary card will begin at 6 p.m. ET. All of those bouts will air on Facebook. Beginning at 8 p.m. ET, the Spike TV portion of the card will air. The pay-per-view for UFC 129 will begin at 9 p.m. ET. This is the first UFC event where the organization decided to push their start time back an hour early.
