NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship 2011: Game Time, TV Schedule, Odds, And More

What started out as a chalky NCAA Women's Tournament got a nice pair of surprises Sunday night, when the No. 2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies both knocked off No. 1 seeds to advance to the 2011 final game. Stanford and UConn had been doing the thing that makes people say, "They were on a collision course all year long," but now we get an actually interesting matchup between two teams fresh to the national stage.

Game time and TV schedule: ESPN is set to broadcast at 8:30 pm ET. Dave O’Brien and Doris Burke have the call, along with Holly Rowe and Rebecca Lobo on the sidelines.

Location: The Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, a venue that, unlike it’s 2011 men’s counterpart in Houston, was actually designed for basketball. Going out on a limb and predicting shooting percentages better than 20 percent in this game.

Odds: Bodog.com has Notre Dame as 2.5-point favorites, likely due to Lil Wayne’s approval of Irish star Skylar Diggins. No?
