The Santa Anita Derby has seen a few drastic shifts in the odds since the initial lines were released earlier this week. Gone are two of the favorites after both Premier Pegasus and Jaycito were forced to scratch just before the Santa Anita Derby got underway. Premier Pegasus was installed as the early 8-5 favorite, with Jaycito close behind at 4-1.

The latest odds can be found below. The scratch of the two favorites thrust Silver Medallion into the favored role at 5-2 for Saturday’s Santa Anita Derby. Anthony’s Cross is close behind at 3-1 with Comma to the Top at 7-2 and Mr. Commons at 4-2.
