Don’t you think David Ragan looks a little awkward in this picture? I’m sure he’ll get to feeling a little more comfortable with winning poles as the season progresses because I foresee a lot more Ford drivers taking poles and winning races this year with that nice FR9 powerplant they have under their hoods. Last year they worked the bugs out of those engines and this year they’re tweaking some awesome horsepower out of them.

Don’t get me wrong, GM and Toyota have some pretty good powerplants too (the jury is out on Dodge at the moment), but those Ford cars have been running really well since the end of last season.
I’m picking the 17 of Matt Kenseth to be in victory lane tonight with Denny Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson not too far behind.
