Was McCourt The Only Bidder For Dodgers?

So according to Commissioner Bud, the Dodgers were sold to Frank McCourt because there were no other bidders.

↵For some reason I’ve been trusting Selig a lot more lately than I used to. But I’m guessing the true story, when it’s eventually written, will suggest that the situation in 2004 was a bit more nuanced. Seems like there should be plenty of billionaires who would like to own the Los Angeles Dodgers. Whether now, or then.
