Squirrel Bites Bullpen Catcher

Sometimes, headlines can be misleading. This is not one of those times. From the San Diego Union-Tribune:

↵“Ack kicked him off and into the fence,” said (Padres bullpen catcher Justin) Hatcher. “So I just grabbed (the squirrel) and picked him up. He latched on, so I shook him off. Then I took a towel and threw it on him and carried him out.”↵The squirrel left two red bite marks at the base of Hatcher’s thumb. He was treated with penicillin.

↵↵An OSHA investigation is probably underway. This story is nuts.
