MLB TV Schedule, 5/22: Yankees/Mets, Red Sox/Cubs

Three telecasts on national channels headline Sunday baseball action; after today MLB leaves interleague play until June 17. All times Eastern.

1 p.m., TBS, YES Network, WPIX: Mets at Yankees. The New York City intercity rivals have split the first two games of their interleague series at Yankee Stadium. In addition to the local coverage in New York on the teams' usual outlets, this game will be TBS' Sunday feature game, with announcers Brian Anderson and John Smoltz.

2 p.m., WGN, Prime Ticket: Dodgers at White Sox. As in New York, the 1959 World Series opponents have split the first two games of this series. Hiroki Kuroda goes for the visitors; Edwin Jackson for the home team.

8 p.m., ESPN: Cubs at Red Sox. Yet another interleague series where the winner takes home series honors. The weather in Boston is supposed to be cold and drizzly tonight. James Russell, taking over for Matt Garza (elbow tightness), goes for the Cubs; Tim Wakefield, also an injury replacement, makes his third start of the year for the home team.
