MLB TV Schedule, 5/23: Red Sox/Indians, Phillies/Reds, Yankees/Blue Jays

With the first round of interleague play in the books, teams return Monday to the business of league play, including a couple of important American League matchups. All times Eastern.

7 p.m., ESPN2, NESN, STO: Red Sox at Indians. The Tribe has the best record in baseball after sweeping a series over the Reds. The Red Sox trail the Yankees and Rays by only half a game. There's national coverage via ESPN2 as well as the local broadcasts.

7 p.m., YES Network, RSN: Blue Jays at Yankees. The entire American League East is separated by only four games; Toronto trails by just 2.5 and has a chance to creep up the ladder.

7 p.m., CSN Philadelphia, FSN Ohio: Reds at Phillies. The Reds are riding a five-game losing streak into this important series against the NL East leaders; Bronson Arroyo faces Cole Hamels.

10 p.m., KCOP, CSN California: Athletics at Angels. The AL West is even tighter than the AL East; just two games from top to bottom. This game features the second and fourth place teams -- but that could change by the end of the night's action.
