Novak Djokovic entered the French Open 2011 as the favorite by many after an extremely strong start to his 2011 season, which includes two clay court, straight set wins over No. 1 Rafael Nadal. In his first round match, he performed like a favorite, making quick work of un-seeded Thiemo De Bakker. Djokovic cruised to a 6-2, 6-1, 6-3 win in under two hours.

Djokovic’s first serve was extremely consistent in the match at 80 percent, leading to Novak winning 39-of-47 first-serve points. He was also able to convert on 6-of-16 break point opportunities.
