I was doing a little research on the short-lived Union Association (you know, because I’m not seeing a girl or anything), when I happened upon the St. Louis Maroons. The Maroons utterly dominated the UA’s only season, thanks to star hurler Dick Burns (Dick Burns!), and, of course, the unwavering support of Baseball’s Best Fans™.
