Cleveland Indians outfielder Shin-Soo Choo was just voted the most underrated player by his peers, but he had a rough night on Monday, joining Miguel Cabrera and Derek Lowe as players who have recently been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Shin-Soo Choo Arrested For Driving Drunk
Shin-Soo Choo arrested for DUI early Monday in Sheffield Lake.And the Indians responded quickly:
GM Chris Antonetti issued this statement, “We are aware of the incident with Shin-Soo Choo and have spoken to him about it. The Indians organization takes these issues very seriously and we are disappointed in the matter. We will continue to monitor the situation and we will not have any further comment at this time.“Choo will be in the lineup tonight for the Indians’ game against the Oakland A’s. If the Derek Lowe incident was any indication, there isn’t likely to be a suspension coming for Choo from either the Indians or MLB. It’s not like the guy did something crazy like in-game tweeting, after all.
