NFL head coaches are in a really tough spot because of the labor issues. They need to be careful not to anger ownership but also not damage relationships with players. The way they handle this situation could impact the way players view and respect them.
It is almost a forgone conclusion that Steve Smith will be traded this offseason. The list of interested teams is sure to be large. Some rumors are beginning to swirl about Smith possibly landing in San Diego and teaming up with Philip Rivers. The duo of Rivers and Smith would be deadly.
Of course fans want an 18 game season but at this point I would like to see an any game season.
