Dwight Howard, Rajon Rondo Headline NBA All-Defense Team

Dwight Howard was a near-unanimous selection for the NBA 2010-11 All-Defense Team. Howard received 27 of 29 votes for the first team, and the remaining two for the second team. The NBA's 30 head coaches vote on the All-Defense team, and are not allowed to vote for their own players.

Rajon Rondo and Kobe Bryant were voted to the first team, joining Howard, LeBron James and Kevin Garnett. The second team included Andre Iguodala, Tony Allen, Chris Paul, Tyson Chandler and Joakim Noah, the only member of the Chicago Bulls, who finished the season with the No. 1 season, to make either squad.

MVP Derrick Rose finished just outside the All-Defense second team, and earned four vote for the first team. Teammate Luol Deng, probably the Bulls' most important defender, finished with four first-team votes and three second-team votes.

Andrew Bogut of the Milwaukee Bucks, a stellar defender, earned exactly one second-team vote. Bulls two-guard Keith Bogans -- who plays 20 minutes a game -- earned a first-team vote.
