Here we are. It's Game 6 between the Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks, and after a long series in the first round that should've been much shorter, the No. 1-seeded Canucks are looking at another series that could have their fans questioning their moxie.
Canucks Vs. Predators, Game 6: Nashville Hopes To Force Another Game, Put Vancouver Into Panic Mode Again
Should the Predators win their second straight elimination game at home on Monday night, they’ll force a Game 7 in Vancouver, all for the chance to go to the Western Conference Finals. Given the way the Canucks have, frankly, dominated the Preds over the course of the series, that seems a little bit crazy, but we all know that things can quickly turn to panic in Vancouver should the Canucks lose this one.
They just don't have that killer instinct, you know? Well, a win on the road will end the magical season of the Predators and eliminate all that worry, just as the huge, overtime win in Game 7 against Chicago completely erased the 3-0 series comeback the Blackhawks made until that point.
It's just one game, but it's the biggest game in the history of the Preds. If they can hold off the Canucks one more time, they'll get to repeat the feat at least one more time this year. Pekka Rinne is in goal as always, while Roberto Luongo will hold steady across the ice for Vancouver.
