Tyler Chatwood Is Effectively Bad

Wednesday afternoon, the Angels’ rookie lowered his ERA to 3.64 by spinning 7-2/3 shutout innings against the Royals. It was the seventh time in 11 starts that Chatwood has allowed three or fewer runs. It was also the eighth time in 11 starts that Chatwood has failed to strike out more batters than he walked.
