Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is using the offseason to put himself in position to begin the season as the starter. Ponder has been instrumental in organizing workouts and getting players together. He appears to be establishing himself as the leader of the offense.
Friday will be a big tipping point in the Labor battle as the courts will hear the lockout appeal. The outcome of this hearing could have a major impact on whether or not the NFL starts the season on time. Andrew Brandt of the National Football Post gives us an update.
One would think that the lack of an offseason would hurt ticket sales but you would be wrong to assume. Ticket sales are up across the league. Lets hope the season starts on time.
