Liles has played 7 NHL seasons, all of them with the Colorado Avalanche. In those 7 seasons, Liles recorded 275 points in 523 games with the Avalanche.

Liles is bringing a cap hit of $4.2 million, according to CapGeek.com, for his final year to the Maple Leafs which still gives them $17.5 million in cap space with 17 players signed. The Avalanche on the other hand rid themselves of some more salary and now sit with a ton of cap space with 13 players signed.
