According to reports by both Rob Rang of NFL Draft Scout and Dan Pompeii of National Football Post, North Alabama cornerback Janoris Jenkins is the top-rated senior cornerback in the nation.
Reports: Janoris Jenkins receives top senior CB rating

He received a 6.9 grade from the National Scouting Service, which rates the senior class before the start of the season.
As Pompeii noted on NFP today, Jenkins' grade was considerably higher than No. 2 cornerback Alfonzo Dennard of Nebraska.
As its been well-documented, Jenkins is at North Alabama after being kicked off Florida’s team for continued issues with drugs.
Preseason ratings, of course, can be deceiving. As former scout Dave Razzano pointed out today, the rankings done by National and similar service BLESTO, are handled by younger evaluators.
“These spr combine grades all over the map,” Razzano said on Twitter today. “It’s only one Scout’s opinion and usually a 1st or 2nd yr guy. They have no idea!”
(Lets assume “spr” means spring.)
Personally, I have Jenkins behind both Dennard and Chase Minniefield of Virginia in the senior cornerback rankings.
