Many, if not all, college football teams hold their own personal combine for returning players.
40 time, size, off-field issues make Cliff Harris’ NFL Draft prospects questionable

Sometimes the information gets out, sometimes it doesn't. Oregon junior cornerback Cliff Harris would probably prefer the latter. According to Oregon's official bio on Harris, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.75 4.79 seconds during winter conditioning.
Basis analysis on combine figures isn’t very smart. Still, that’s not good. In fact, a 4.75 4.79 is downright awful. How awful?
At this year’s NFL Scouting Combine, the slowest 40-yard dash from a cornerback was 4.71 seconds.
It gets worse for Harris. Oregon lists him at 165 pounds – much less than the 180 he’s been listed at in the past.
If size and speed reasons aren’t enough for you, there’s also Harris’ off-field issues.
Harris, an All-American in 2010, was suspended indefinitely by Oregon two two weeks ago. Harris was cited for speeding and driving a rental car with a suspended license. Harris was driving 118 miles an hour – hey, he can’t run fast, but he sure can drive fast.
This is the second time Harris was busted for driving with a suspended license, according to multiple reports. In a statement, Oregon head coach Chip Kelly said Harris would be suspended for the opener against LSU “at the very least.”
Harris is currently listed as the 26th overall prospect eligible for the 2012 NFL Draft. Unless he has another sensational year (he had 23 pass deflections in 2010), it may be hard to justify such a ranking.
